Introduction
My interpretation of this task is that we need to make a magazine for Magnetic Magazine. Magnetic Magazine is an online publication that is specializing in music and culture featuring interweivs, premieres, mixes, charts, industry news, and more. They where founded in 2011 by BPM Magazine founder/publisher, David Ireland and editor Rob Simas. It’s the best junction between culture and music, diving into topics such as sustainbility, travel, camping, and festival life.
They are thinking about making four magazines a year, one for each season, to specifically promote events according to the theme of the season. So they want us to make the summer edidtion where we are able to show our artistic voice as an graphic designer and make the cover. We need to choose 4 articles from the different categories, where one of the articles must feature a uniqe custom-made design made by me. This is the design that is going to be the cover of the magazine.

Custom-Made Design
For the cover I wanted to have a good and strong image that connected to the viewers. So I wanted to make an image that had good colors and a good feeling about it. I did end up changing the woman in the image. After the feedback I felt that it was a bit too much “photo”, so I changed the woman with a woman that I made in Adobe Firefly.
Here is the first image for the cover I made, I also added some smoke/clouds and the white spiral thing to add more layers. I added an gradient mask also so I could get the color I wanted overall on the image.
When I was finished with the magazine I was still not 100% happy with the cover image. So I decided to make some changes. I made a image earlier in Adobe firefly that I liked, so I changed the woman out with this one. Just so it would look more illustrated than photo. I also downloaded some splatter brushes and made two layer of the woman where one of them I removed some of the image, and one where I added more outside the head so the head would be more dragged out with the background.
